COVERCO: the present and the past...
COVERCO has been producing electric motors since its establishment in 1972. In 1984 it enhanced its position in the international electric motors industry by taking over COME, a highly qualified local motor producer. During the eighties and the nineties, COVERCO's products mix was widened by the introduction of a new 4'' and 6'' submersible motor series. OVERCO has been producing electric motors since its establishment in 1972.
In order to maintain its position in the market in this strongly globalised world, COVERCO has merged into the Franklin Electric Group in 2002. Subsequently, in 2005 COVERCO created a collaboration pole with FRANKLIN ELECTRIC GmbH and FRANKLIN ELECTRIC Spol aiming to transfer the production of motors from its headquarters in Motta di Livenza (TV) Italy to the newly established buildings on Franklin in the Czech Republic.
Thanks to its long experience, impeccable management on each of its departments from engineering to marketing and sales, nowadays COVERCO is still a leading company in the international induction motor market.
