COMPANY PROFILE

COVERCO has been producing electric motors since its establishement in 1972. In 1984 it enhanced its position in the international electric motor industry by taking over COME, a highly qualified induction motor producer. During the eighties and the nineties, COVERCO's product mix was widened by the introdution of a new range of 4" and 6" submersible motors.

In order to maintain its position in the market in this strongly globalised world, COVERCO has merged into the Franklin Group in 2002. Subsequently, in 2005 COVERCO created a collaboration pole FRANKLIN ELECTRIC GmbH and FRANKLIN ELECTRIC Spol aiming to transfer the production from its headquarter in Motta di Livenza (TV) Italy to the newly established buildings of Franklin in the Czech Republic.

Thanks to its long experience, nowadays COVERCO is still a leading company in the international induction motor market.
